A tattoo design I did for a friend of mine.
She decided to get another sketch of mine done on her skin, so this one’s not needed anymore.

Casual Cel Sketch

21/07/2012

Just to tease a little bit, the main character of nightwall once again, this time in casual streetwear, which she would never wear. So basically more a test on how the characters in the comic could look like. Oh, right and she has blonde hair this time. I’m sorry Rory… Actually, they don’t look anything alike. Forget what I just wrote…

All of you have a good weekend!

Hey world out there,
there’s a thunderstorm outside my door. Baad vibes and grey mood:(
But here as promised the page out of my sketchbook with the tattoo design I did for a friend.
I made it in varying sizes so she could decide how big she wanted it.

The motive is the New Zealand “Tui” a very common NZ bird with really nice feathers.
Made with a thin black marker and the sketched woman with a ballpoint.

Currently working on some personal pieces to hopefully get enough artsy stuff to fuel a small exhibition.
This one’s currently under construction.
I was revisiting a piece I did a couple of years ago(ended up redoing it completely) of my girlfriend at that time. So this picture holds her spirit. The name’s not related to that though.
Tell me what you think. “Useful” critique is very welcome;)

The tattoo design on the side of the girls body is a piece out of my sketchbook,(will show you that page soon) that I was really satisfied with after a while. I thought it fits perfectly with the backgroundstory I thought about while designing that piece.

Finished Tattoo

Hello again,
I’m updating late, I know, but here it is finally, the beautiful matruska doll with the cute little teapot!
Jarni was one brave girl sitting there for soo long undergoing the cruel pain.

Acknowledgements are going out to Hans from Euro Tattoo on Lincoln Road, Auckland!
He did a really good job!

I finished up the tattoo illustration for a good friend of mine today.
She’s very happy with it and we’re both pretty excited to get it tattooed quite soon, yay!
My first design on someone elses body!
